RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH THE SPHERE INSTITUTE TO EXTEND THE TERM TO
JUNE 30, 2003

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors on March 5, 2002 adopted Resolution Number 65105 authorizing the County of San Mateo to enter into an Agreement with The SPHERE Institute to provide for consulting services in connection with the Outcome Based Management and Budgeting (OBM) Implementation Project; and

WHEREAS, the parties now wish to extend the term of the Agreement from February 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003; and

WHEREAS, there has now been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance, an Amendment to the Agreement between the County of San Mateo and The SPHERE Institute; and said Board has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment with The SPHERE Institute, for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
