Resolution Setting a Time and Place for a Public Hearing to Consider the Transfer of 0.0212823700 of the Property Tax Apportionment in Tax Code Area 21-014 from the Ravenswood Highway Lighting District to the East Palo Alto Drainage Maintenance District

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, acting as the governing board of the East Palo Alto Drainage Maintenance District that

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that 0.0212823700 of the Property Tax Apportionment in Tax Code Area 21-014 be transferred from the Ravenswood Highway Lighting District to the East Palo Alto Drainage Maintenance District; and

 

WHEREAS, Section 99.02 et. sec. of the State of California Revenue and Taxation Code requires the public agency that will be affected by a proposed transfer of fees, charges assessments, taxes or other revenues to hold a public hearing to consider the effect of said transfer; and

 

WHEREAS, the East Palo Alto Drainage Maintenance District will be affected by a transfer of the tax apportionment as recommended by the Director of Public Works.

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

Tuesday, the 28th day of January 2003, at the hour of 9:00 a.m., at the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, in the Hall of Justice and Records, 400 County Center (formerly 401 Marshall Street), Redwood City, California, is hereby fixed as the date, time and place of a hearing to consider the effect of the proposed tax apportionment transfer from the Ravenswood Highway Lighting District to the East Palo Alto Drainage Maintenance District

The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of said County, pursuant to Section 6061 of the Government Code, shall cause a copy of Exhibit "A" to this resolution, to be published once in the Independent Newspaper Group, a newspaper of general circulation circulated in said District.
