RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPROPRIATION TRANSFER REQUEST IN THE AMOUNT OF $68,000, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE JANUARY 8, 2002 AGREEMENT WITH IMAGEMAX, INC., TO EXTEND THE TERM BY ONE YEAR, AND TO ADD IMAGING SERVICES AT A COST OF $67,550, FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $268,000.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance the first amendment to an agreement (reference to which is hereby made for further particulars) whereby ImageMax, Inc. will provide microfilm regeneration and document imaging services for the Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder from January 7, 2003 through December 31, 2003, for an amount not to exceed $268,000; and

WHEREAS, there has presented to the Board of Supervisors for its consideration and approval an Appropriation Transfer Request in the amount of $68,000, within the County Clerk-Recorder budget unit; and

WHEREAS, the Board has examined and approved the agreement as to both form and content and desires to approve it;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that (1) the appropriation transfer request is hereby approved; (2) the President of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute the first amendment to the agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo; and (3) the Clerk of this Board shall attest the signature thereto.
