RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN INTEREST-EARNING TRUST FUND FOR HEALTHY KIDS SAN MATEO

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, this Board desires to create the Healthy Kids San Mateo program as a means to assure health insurance coverage for children;

WHEREAS, Funding to pay for the coverage offered in the Healthy Kids San Mateo program is from many sources in the community dedicated to the provision of health care for children;

WHEREAS, This Board desires that all the funds contributed to the Healthy Kids program by deposited to a trust fund and that the interest earned from the funds accrue back to the fund to meet the objectives of the Health Kids San Mateo program;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the County Controller create a trust fund for Healthy Kids San Mateo and that the interest from said fund will accrue to the fund to meet the objectives of the Health Kids San Mateo program.
