RESOLUTION THANKING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, County of Santa Clara was the first county to establish a Healthy Kids program to assure the health care coverage of all children in its jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, The County of Santa Clara has provided technical assistance and staff support to the San Mateo County Children's Health Initiative to establish a Healthy Kids program in San Mateo County;

WHEREAS, Together Santa Clara County, the City and County of San Francisco, and San Mateo County are working to erase the borders and connect kids to health care;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED, That the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors extends its thanks to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors for the assistance provided to establish Health Kids in San Mateo County.
