RESOLUTION AMENDING AN AGREEMENT WITH MERCER HUMAN RESOURCE CONSULTING FOR ACTUARIAL STUDIES OF THE COUNTY'S RETIREMENT PLAN OPTIONS.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County negotiated retirement plan enhancements in negotiations with its employee organizations, and;

WHEREAS, the County required actuarial studies to evaluate the estimated costs of various options it considered, and;

WHEREAS, Mercer Human Resource Consulting has provided actuarial work for San Mateo County's Retirement Board and, as a result, are familiar with the County's retirement plans, and;

WHEREAS, the County contracted with Mercer Human Resource Consulting and requested additional work that requires amending the maximum contract dollar amount and duration of contract and the Board of Supervisors has received and approves the amendment;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to amend an agreement with Mercer Human Resource Consulting for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
