RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF FIRST AMENDMENTS TO NINE FLAT RATE AGREEMENTS WITH VARIOUS PROVIDERS OF ALCOHOL AND DRUG PREVENTION AND TREATMENT SERVICES

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on October 29, 2002, the County of San Mateo entered into flat rate Agreements with various providers of alcohol and drug prevention and treatment services; and

WHEREAS, it is now the mutual desire and intent of the parties to amend the Agreements with: 1) Asian American Recovery Services; 2) El Centro de Libertad; 3) Free At Last; 4) The Latino Commission; 5) Project Ninety, Inc.; 6) Service League of San Mateo County; 7) Sitike Counseling Center; 8) Women's Recovery Association; and 9) Youth and Family Assistance; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with forms of the first Amendments to the nine flat rate Agreements and has examined and approved them as to both form and content and desires to enter into said first Amendments to the nine flat rate Agreements:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED, that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said first Amendments to the flat rate Agreements for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
