Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Ninth Amendment to the Agreement for Operation of the Pescadero Solid Waste Transfer Station

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, an amendment to that certain agreement between the County of San Mateo and Browning Ferris Industries of California, Inc. dated August 5, 1986, and entitled, "Agreement for Operation of the Pescadero Solid Waste Transfer Station", which extends the terms of said agreement to September 30, 2003, has been presented to this Board; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered said amendment and desires to enter into the same:

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said amendment to the agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the signature of the Clerk of this Board shall attest to the President's signature thereto.
