Resolution Granting a Negative Declaration on the CSA No. 11 - Pescadero Water Supply Project

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County is proposing to construct a new production well for the purpose of extending the life of the water supply for County Service Area No. 11 - Community of Pescadero; and

WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration to review possible environmental impacts of the proposed project has been prepared; and

WHEREAS, this Board has taken public testimony to the Negative Declaration and has review and considered said Negative Declaration;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREEBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

a.

this Negative Declaration reflects the independent judgment of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo;

b.

the Negative Declaration is complete, correct and adequate and prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act and applicable State and County Guidelines; and

c.

on the basis of the initial study, comments received thereto, and testimony presented and considered at the public hearing, there is no substantial evidence that the project will have a significant effect on the environment.
