Resolution Authorizing Execution of an Agreement with Harlan D. Bryan for Improvements Adjacent to 3027 Canyon Road - Burlingame

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works of the County of San Mateo has recommended that an agreement be entered into with Harlan D. Bryan, developer of a subdivision near 3027 Canyon Road, for construction of an on-site private road to County standards to serve the proposed lots in the above referenced subdivision. The road construction shall include the undergrounding of required utilities and appurtenances and provision to accommodate all roadway and surface drainage; and.

WHEREAS, a Subdivision Bond in the amount of $176,000 has been filed with the Director of Public Works of said County to secure performance of and payment for construction said improvements and to guarantee and warranty the work for one year following the completion and acceptance thereof in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Subdivision Map Act; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered the agreement and the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that said agreement by and between the County of San Mateo and Harlan D. Bryan, is hereby approved, and the President and the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors be, and they are hereby, authorized to sign same for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo.
