RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ANNUAL FEE FOR LICENSE TO OPERATE A MOBILEHOME PARK

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on March 25, 2003 this Board adopted an ordinance adding the requirement that a license to operate a mobilehome park be obtained annually (section 5.92.055 of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code);

WHEREAS, that ordinance required that the Board establish by resolution an annual license fee for the license to operate a mobilehome park;

WHEREAS, each license will require a hearing before the License Board, which will consume staff time and resources whose costs will be covered in part by the fee;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the
annual fee for a license to operate a mobilehome park is $500 for parks with more than 100
spaces, and $200 for parks with 100 or fewer spaces; and that authority to increase the fee is
delegated to the Treasurer-Tax Collector.
