RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE AND EXECUTION OF AN IRREVOCABLE OFFER TO DEDICATE A CONSERVATION PRESERVE AND A CONSERVATION EASEMENT GRANT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, on December 19, 2002, the San Mateo County Zoning Hearing Officer approved Application No. PLN2002-00488 by the Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) for a coastal development exemption, planned agricultural permit and lot line adjustment to reconfigure two (2) parcels located at 800 El Granada Boulevard in unincorporated El Granada which were then owned by Wicklow House and ETOP Properties; and

 

WHEREAS, Condition of Approval No. 3 in the determination requires a perpetual Conservation Easement in gross on 15.61 acres of the 20.61 acre parcel owned by the Wicklow House, resulting from the lot line adjustment; and

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to this condition, the property owner has therefore offered to dedicate a conservation easement and presented this Board with a conservation easement grant in accordance with the terms of the Condition of Approval;

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the offer to dedicate a conservation easement and the conservation easement grant, required by Condition of Approval No. 3 of the decision by the San Mateo County Hearing Officer approving Application No. PLN2002-00488, are hereby approved and accepted, and the President of the Board is hereby authorized and directed to execute these documents and acceptances thereof, for and on behalf of the County.
