Resolution Authorizing Execution of an Agreement between the Town of Hillsborough and the County of San Mateo for the Resurfacing of Portions of Tiptoe Lane, Summit Drive, and Tiara Court in the Burlingame Hills Area
(County Project F-36 [218A])

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that Tiptoe Lane between Live Oak Lane and Summit Drive; and Summit Drive between Tiptoe Lane and the County Limits be resurfaced and;

WHEREAS, the Town of Hillsborough is desirous of having its portion of Tiptoe Lane and Summit Drive resurfaced in conjunction with the County's resurfacing project; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Hillsborough has requested that the work be done as a single comprehensive project administered by the County; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Hillsborough on December 9, 2002, at their regular Town Council meeting authorized execution of a sharing agreement; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board a form of agreement executed by the Town of Hillsborough which provides for the sharing of costs of the proposed work, and this Board has considered same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED as follows:

1.

The President of this Board of Supervisors shall be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the County of San Mateo and the signature of the Clerk of this Board shall attest thereto.

2.

The Clerk of the Board is hereby directed to send a certified copy of this resolution and the executed duplicate original of the agreement to the Town Clerk of the Town of Hillsborough.
