Resolution Authorizing Execution of an Agreement with the
Hiller Aviation Museum - San Carlos Airport

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 25536 allows a county, by four-fifths (4/5ths) vote of its governing board, to enter into agreements to permit activities on land held by the county for airport purposes; and

WHEREAS, the Hiller Aviation Museum has requested the use of the San Carlos Airport's runway, taxiways, and other public facilities, services and conveniences for their event called the Vertical Challenge Helicopter Air Show; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board for its consideration and acceptance, an agreement which allows the Hiller Aviation Museum to conduct an event on Saturday, June 21, 2003; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and considered said agreement.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the signature of the Clerk of this Board shall attest thereto.
