A County employee for over 5 years, Patti is the Lead Revenue Collector for the unit that is assigned Medical Center and Human Services Agency accounts. Prior to her promotion to lead worker in November 2001, Patti was a Revenue Collector II.
Patti was nominated by Joan Fountain, her co-worker. Joan complimented Patti in her nomination form by saying she "displays the type of behavior that employers love. She arrives every morning before her scheduled start time and begins working. Always has a positive attitude, and she's friendly to everyone. Great customer services skills which is extremely important in our line of work. Extremely tactful, and always courteous when dealing with potentially difficult customers over the telephone. Her work ethic is contagious throughout her department. She encourages the `new kid on the block' and is never too busy to assist."
In addition to collecting on Medical Center and HSA accounts, Patti assumes numerous responsibilities in her position. She trains new employees, attends meetings with clients, and handles difficult and complex situations. In spite of her heavy workload, she somehow still finds the time to send a bouquet of flowers to an ailing co-worker and organizes great lunches and potlucks. It is also rumored that she cooks some of the best ribs that co-workers have ever tasted!
Patti's annual collection target for FY02-03 is $1.4 million. Her projected collections for FY02-03 are estimated to be $2.1 million. Patti remains humble about her extraordinary success.
Our County is fortunate to have Patti Camgros as one of its outstanding employees. |
