RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR VERIFYING THE ACCURACY OF NON-COMMERCIAL WEIGHING AND MEASURING DEVICES

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, Section 12210 (b) of the Business and Professions Code states that the Board of Supervisors may authorize the County Sealer to establish from time to time a schedule of fees to cover the cost of the inspection and testing of non-commercial weighing and measuring devices; and,

WHEREAS, on March 8, 1988, this Board adopted a fee schedule for non-commercial weighing and measuring devices; and,

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an amended fee schedule for non-commercial devices as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached and incorporated to this resolution; and,

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with and has examined the basis for the amended new fee schedule and desires to implement the new fee schedule.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be authorized to direct the County's Sealer of Weights and Measures to implement the amended fee schedule as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached and incorporated to this resolution for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo and the Clerk of this Board shall attest to the signature thereto.

Where indicated fee is per device, the fee will be assessed on each device tested at the Redwood City office of the County Sealer. Where the fee indicated is per location, the fee will only be assessed once on all like devices at the same address.
