RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE EAP LABOR-MANAGMENET COMMITTEE TO RENEW A CONTRACT WITH MANAGED HEALTH NETWORK AND APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH MHN.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, THE county has received competitive proposals from companies for provision of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services; and

WHEREAS, the County desires to accept the proposal submitted by Managed Health Network (MHN) because it provides a larger network and provides for competitive costs for a three year term; and

WHEREAS, the board has reviewed and approves an agreement with MHN for the provision of Employees Assistance Program services;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors accepts the recommendation of the Labor-Management Committee to contract with MHN and that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to sign for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
