BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING: 1) THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS WITH EL CONCILIO OF SAN MATEO COUNTY AND FREE AT LAST; AND 2) THE COUNTY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENTS AND MODIFICATIONS TO THESE AGREEMENTS NOT TO EXCEED $100,000.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance Agreements, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby El Concilio of San Mateo County shall provide HIV street outreach intervention and testing, and prevention case management, and Free at Last shall provide HIV street outreach intervention and testing, prevention case management and residential and non-residential drug treatment services for people with HIV/AIDS; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with the Agreements and has examined and approved them as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Agreements.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute Agreements with El Concilio of San Mateo County and Free at Last as approved by the County Manager and County Counsel for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Manager is hereby authorized to execute minor amendments and modifications to the Agreements not to exceed $100,000 for each Agreement.
