RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE SECOND AMENDMENT WITH SHELTER NETWORK FOR THE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR FAMILIES IN THE JUVENILE COURT DEPENDENCY PROGRAM AND A FIRST AMENDMENT WITH SHELTER NETWORK FOR THE MOTEL VOUCHER PROGRAM

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on June 18, 2002, by Resolution No. 65358, the Board of Supervisors authorized execution of a First Amendment to the Agreement with Shelter Network to provide Transitional Housing for Families in the Juvenile Court Dependency Program;

WHEREAS, on September 10, 2002, by Resolution No. 65540, the Board of Supervisors authorized execution of a separate Agreement with Shelter Network to provide the Motel Voucher Program;

WHEREAS, the County and the Contractor desire to entire into a Second Amendment to decrease funds in the amount of $90,000 for FY 2002-03 from the Transitional Housing for Families in the Juvenile Court Dependency Program;

WHEREAS, the County and the Contractor desire to entire into a First Amendment to increase funds in the amount of $90,000 for FY 2002-03 to the Motel Voucher Program;

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Amendments and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Amendments.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendments of the Agreements for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo and the clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
