RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION TO ADMINISTER THE INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNT PROJECT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors approved an Agreement with Peninsula Community Foundation on August 25, 2000, for the purpose of administering the County's Individual Development Account Project at the Daly City PeninsulaWorks site; and

WHEREAS, this Agreement has been amended on two previous occasions to increase the amount, extend the term and to expand services to include San Carlos, Redwood City and Menlo Park; and

WHEREAS, the parties wish to further amend the Agreement to increase the amount by $100,000, extend the term to June 30, 2004 and include an additional 25 families; and

WHEREAS, the Human Services Agency will provide matching funds for the Individual Development Account not exceed $600,000; and

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has been presented with a form of such Amendment to the Agreement and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Amendment to the Agreement.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Third Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
