Resolution Authorizing an Increase in Aggregate Payments to the Contractor for the Extension of Crystal Springs Trail to San Bruno Avenue in the San Bruno/Millbrae Area | |

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that | |
WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors did, on May 22, 2001, adopt a resolution for the award and authorized execution of a contract with W.R. Forde Associates for the extension of Crystal Springs Trail to San Bruno; and | |
WHEREAS, the County did enter into an Agreement with W.R. Forde Associates, as authorized by said resolution; and | |
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides that aggregate payments to W.R. Forde Associates, shall not exceed $434,750 without this Board's approval; and | |
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the changes in the project will increase the overall contract cost to an amount greater than was originally authorized by this Board; and | |
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that the not to exceed figure as originally approved by this Board be increased to provide for unanticipated work; and | |
WHEREAS, this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works. | |
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that | |

The Agreement is hereby amended to provide that aggregate payments to W.R. Forde Associates for said work shall not exceed the sum of Four Hundred Seventy Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($470,750.00) without this Board's approval. |
2. |
That, with the exception of modification as herein provided, the Agreement with W.R. Forde Associates, entered into on May 22, 2001 shall remain unchanged. |
