RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AGENCY DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND THE TWENTY CITIES OF THE COUNTY FOR THE PROVISION OF ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board for its consideration and acceptance an Agreement with the Cities within the County of San Mateo to provide Animal Control Services from July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2006; and

WHEREAS, it is mutually agreed that the costs for the Animal Control Services Program will be shared between the Cities and the County based on service costs;

WHEREAS, this Board is presented with such Agreement and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desire to enter into same upon receipt of all signed Agreements from all Cities;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Environmental Service Agency Director is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo.
