Resolution Awarding and Authorizing Execution of a Contract with
Hansen Information Technologies Inc.
for Computerized Maintenance Management System Software and Implementation Services

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has determined that a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) will enhance the services provided by the Department; and

WHEREAS, a request for proposal to provide a CMMS was issued in accordance with Administrative Memorandum B-1; and

WHEREAS, proposals that were submitted were reviewed and evaluated; and

WHEREAS, based on the review of said proposals, four vendors were invited to demonstrate their systems; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works, based on the full review of said systems, has recommended that Hansen Information Technologies Incorporated be selected to provide the CMMS, and this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that

1.

It is in the best interest of the County of San Mateo to enter into an agreement for CMMS implementation with:

Hansen Information Technologies Inc.

1745 Markston Road

Sacramento, CA 95825

2.

The Director of Public Works be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute an Agreement on and in behalf of the County with Hansen Information Technologies Inc.

3.

All payments to the Contractor be in accordance with the contract documents.

4.

That payments to the Contractor shall not exceed the sum of $237,200 without prior approval of this Board.
