RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE ORGANIZATION OF SHERIFF’S SERGEANTS

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and ratification the Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Organization of Sheriff’s Sergeants (OSS), reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, which increases the retiree health benefit and allows the option to increase the number of sick leave hours that can be converted from 8 to 14, in one hour increments; and

WHEREAS, this Board has examined and approved the Amendment as to both form and content and desires to ratify and adopt the same;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that this Board of Supervisors hereby ratifies and adopts said Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding and approves the schedules of compensation and benefits set forth therein.
