BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION waiving the Request for Proposals Process; extending the umbrella agreement with IBM Corporation for IBM proprietary mainframe software and related services per Board Resolutions 60298, 61946 and 63761 in an additive amount of $829,896; and authorizing the CIO/Director of Information Services to approve modifications, additions, deletions or upgrades, within the total authorized by this Resolution, but not to exceed a total of $100,000 in any one fiscal year unless approved by the County Manager.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and approval a request: (1) to waive the Request for Proposals Process; (2) to extend the umbrella agreement with IBM Corporation for IBM proprietary mainframe software and related services per Board Resolutions 60298, 61946 and 63761 in the additive amount of $829,896; and (3) to authorize the CIO/Director of Information Services to approve modifications, additions, deletions or upgrades, within the total authorized by Board Resolutions, but not to exceed a total of $100,000 in any one fiscal year unless approved by the County Manager; and,

WHEREAS, this Board has determined that the best interests of the Count would be served by taking such actions;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED such actions are now taken and the County Manager is authorized and directed to execute any and all agreement documents for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo related to this transaction that involve amounts greater than $100,000, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest her signature thereto.
