Resolution Certifying the Mileage in the County Maintained Road System

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, Section 2121 of the California Streets and Highway Code provides that in May of each year, each county shall submit to the California Department of Transportation the additions to and exclusions from their total mileage of maintained county roads; and

WHEREAS, the California Department of Transportation certified to the State Controller that the total mileage of maintained County roads in San Mateo County in 2002 was 316.73; and

WHEREAS, the County finds that, as of May 1, 2003, 0.06 miles of road were added to the total mileage of maintained County roads since May 1, 2002, and 0.04 miles of road were deleted from the total mileage of maintained County roads since May 1, 2003; and

WHEREAS, the County finds that as of May 1, 2003, the total mileage of maintained County roads is 316.75; and

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the County roads listed in the Collier-Burns Road Index dated May 2003, are included into the County Maintained Road System, and that the mileage of maintained County roads as of May 1, 2003, is certified to be 316.75 miles.
