Discussion

Under this three-year agreement, Dr. Woo has provided the same level of services as in the past to Long Term Care patients. In addition, he has also provided up to three, half-day clinics in both the San Mateo and outlying primary care clinics. Podiatry services are provided under the general direction of the Medical Director of Ambulatory Care and Medical Services. The quality of the services provided by the contractor are monitored and evaluated through peer review by the Quality Assurance Committee and the Executive of the medical staff.

This amendment expands the services provided by Dr. Woo to include professional podiatry surgical services for patients referred to Dr. Woo's private offices only when these services cannot be provided at San Mateo Medical Center (SMMC).
