AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MASTER SALARY
ORDINANCE ADOPTED ON AUGUST 5, 2003

The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, ordains as follows:

SECTION 1. Part 5 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

Sheriff's Office. Criminalists who provide lead direction to other staff in the areas of firearms and DNA analysis shall receive a 5% differential in addition to all other compensation for hours carrying out such work. No more than two employees may receive this differential at any one time.

SECTION 2. Part 12 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

Item E334S, Office Assistant series, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 0 positions.

2.

Item E337, Office Specialist, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 1 position.

SECTION 3. This ordinance is effective at the start of the first pay period 30 days following adoption.
