RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A SECOND AMENEDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH SAN MATEO COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors approved the execution of an Agreement with San Mateo Community College District on September 24, 2002, for the purpose of providing training courses for displaced workers in the airline and travel industries; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors approved a First Amendment to the Agreement on June 24, 2003, to extend the term of the Agreement; and

WHEREAS, both parties wish to further amend the Agreement to correct the method of payment to reflect what the Contractor received in FY 2002-03 and what they are eligible for in FY 2003-04 to complete services described in the Agreement; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Second Amendment to the Agreement and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into the same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Second Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo; and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
