ORGANIZATION 66000 SAN MATEO MEDICAL CENTER

Action:

Reclassify: One position of D093, Custodial Services Manager

Biweekly Salary: $2007.20 - 2508.80

Approximate Monthly Salary: $4349 - 5436

To: One position of D131, Program Services Manager I

Biweekly Salary: $1732.80 - 2902.40

Approximate Monthly Salary: $3755 - 6289

Explanation:

This is the upward reclassification of one filled Custodial Services Manager position to the classification of Program Services Manager I. With recent reductions of positions the SMMC has consolidated all of the security and safety duties into this position. A Management Analyst, a classification at the same salary rate as the Program Services Manager I, had previously done the safety and security duties. These combined duties are more appropriately represented by the Program Services Manager I classification. This action represents a monthly salary and benefits cost of $1109 based on filling the position at the top step range. There is no change in the total number of authorized positions.
