Resolution Increasing the Rate Schedules for the Furnishing of Water Service within County Service Area No. 11, Pescadero Area

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors is the Governing Board of County Service Area No. 11 (CSA11); and

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 56747 establishing regulations and rates schedules for furnishing of water service within CSA11; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to increase said rates schedules in order to meet the anticipated financial obligations for CSA11.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that

this Board does hereby adopt the schedule of rates for water service as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto which replaces the schedule of rates for water service adopted by Resolution No. 56747.

2.

The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to increase the rates as shown in Sections 4. and 5. of Exhibit A to an amount not greater than 119% of the rates shown in Section 4. and 5. of Exhibit A. Said increase in rates shall be based on anticipated costs for the construction of a new well to serve CSA11 and shall not be increased until contracts associated with the construction of the new well have been entered into and their value known.
