RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A THIRD LEASE AMENDMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND HARBOR BELMONT ASSOCIATES FOR THE LEASE OF OFFICE SPACE AT 264 HARBOR BOULEVARD, BELMONT, CALIFORNIA (LEASE NO. 1185)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, on December 8, 1992 the County of San Mateo and Harbor Belmont Associates entered into a Lease Agreement for the property located at 264 Harbor Boulevard, Belmont, California as authorized by Resolution No. 56751; and

 

WHEREAS, on April 16, 2002 the County of San Mateo and Harbor Belmont Associates, entered into a First Lease Amendment as authorized by Resolution No. 65195, which was further amended on July 30, 2002 by a Second Lease Amendment as authorized by Resolution No. 65461 for the property located at 264 Harbor Boulevard, Belmont, California; and

WHEREAS, the parties now wish to further amend that agreement; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Third Lease Amendment and said Board having examined and approved the Third Lease Amendment as to both form and content, desire to enter into the Third Lease Amendment.

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED

1. That the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute the Third Lease Amendment for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.

 

2. That the Assistant County Manager is hereby authorized to accept or execute on behalf of the County any and all, notices, consents, approvals and documents in connection with the Third Lease Amendment and the Lease.
