RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A SECOND AMENDMENT TO LEASE BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND THE MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT FOR THE ROLPH PEAK COMMUNICATION FACILITY (LEASE NO. 1013)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on October 27, 1992, the County of San Mateo and the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District entered into an agreement for the lease of office space for the Rolph Peak Communication Facility as amended on January 10, 1995; and

WHEREAS, the parties now wish to further amend that agreement; to extend the term of the lease through October 31, 2007 and increase the annual rent; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Second Amendment to Lease and said Board, having examined and approved the amendment as to both form and content, desires to enter into the Second Amendment to Lease:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED

1. That the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Second Amendment for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.

2. That the Assistant County Manager is hereby authorized to accept or execute on behalf of the County, any and all options, notices and documents in connection with this Second Amendment to Lease.
