Amend Section 2.24.080 of Chapter 24 of Title 2 of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code to increase fees charged by the Agricultural Commissioner for the inspection and certification of certain plant products, annual registration of agricultural pest control businesses and pest control advisers and establishing fees for certified farmers' markets and certified producers

   

b)

Add Chapter 5.144 of Title 5 of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code providing for a registration certificate and fee and consumer notification posting for automated point-of-sale stations (scanners)

Amend Section 5.124.020 and 5.124.030 of Chapter 124 of Title 5 of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code increasing annual device registration fees for certain commercial weighing and measuring devices

Adoption of an ordinance (04179) amending Section 6.04.290 (Schedule of Fees and Charges) of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code, increasing all Animal Control fees, including humane services fees and dog licenses, previously introduced, and waiver of reading the ordinance in its entirety

a)

Accepting a donation from the San Mateo County Parks and Recreation Foundation for environmental review and permitting for the Edgewood Interpretive Center; plans, design, biological studies and permitting for the Sequoia Flat Crossing in Memorial Park; funding a park aide at the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve; landscaping improvements at Coyote Point Recreation Area; maintenance of equestrian trails within Pescadero Park; make improvements at the Jack Brook Horse Camp in Sam McDonald Park and the reallocation of $55,000 from the previously approved new Ranger Station for Crystal Springs Trail to the Sanchez Adobe Seismic and Roof Repair Project, in the amount of $98,500

Resolution (066074) adopting plans and specifications dated May 6, 2003, determining prevailing wage scales, determining that the bid of the apparent low bidder is not responsive, determining the low bidder and authorizing execution of a contract to Graham Contractors, Inc. for the slurry sealing of various streets in Burlingame Hills, Colma, Country Club Park, Daly City, North Fair Oaks, Palomar Park, Redwood City, San Mateo Highlands, Sequoia Tract, Los Trancos Woods and West Menlo Park, in the amount of $318,000

Adoption of an ordinance (04181) amending the master salary ordinance within the Clinics Division of San Mateo Medical Center, previously introduced, and waiver of reading the ordinance in its entirety:
