RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR

MATERIALS TESTING AND INSPECTION

FOR THE SAN MATEO COUNTY YOUTH SERVICES CENTER PROJECT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has approved the construction of the San Mateo County Youth Services Center and materials testing and inspection is necessary to ensure quality control, and;

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an agreement between the County of San Mateo and Signet Testing Labs, Inc., and;

WHEREAS, said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter same;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Agreement with Signet Testing Labs, Inc. in the amount of $306,629 for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
