RESOLUTION AUTHORIZAING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH CALIFORNIA SERVICE BUREAU FOR COLLECTION SERVICES FOR THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board previously directed the President of the Board to sign an agreement with California Service Bureau for collection of various second level accounts, according to the terms and conditions contained in said agreement; and

WHEREAS, the Employee and Public Services Director has recommended that the County maintain the same amount of this contract at $375,000 and extend the term of this contract for an additional two years from December 1, 2003 through November 30, 2005; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance, a form of such amendment, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars; and

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has examined and approved said agreement and extension as to form and content and desires to enter into same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said amendment to the agreement with California Service Bureau for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
