RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH NATIONAL CHURCH RESIDENCES TO FURTHER ASSIST WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo and the National Church Residences entered into an Agreement on March 19, 2002, for the development of affordable housing in Pacifica, CA; and

WHEREAS, the Parties now wish to amend the Agreement, to extend the term and add additional funding to the Agreement; and

WHEREAS, the County wishes to support the development of affordable housing, and there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance, a First Amendment to the Agreement between the County of San Mateo and National Church Residences, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, and the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved the same as to form and content and desire to enter into the same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and director to execute said First Amendment for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
