Discussion |
Committee members drew lots to determine the length of their appointments in order to comply with your Board's "Standing Rules for County Boards, Commissions and Advisory Committees." The member's terms, based on the lot drawn, were for two, three and four years. The City has requested that Ms. Lancelle replace David Carmany, the City's representative who was initially reappointed for a two-year term which ends on March 31, 2004, as Mr. Carmany is no longer with the City. We are recommending the appointment of Ms. Lancelle based on the City of Pacifica's request. |
Vision Alignment |
We believe our recommendation is consistent with the Shared Commitment of a "responsive, effective and collaborative government" as the reappointments will continue to involve representatives of the cities and the general public within the Colma Creek Flood Control Zone, in the decision making process associated with the Zone's flood control projects. |
Fiscal Impact |
There is no direct impact to the funds of the Colma Creek Flood Control Zone as the Committee members serve without compensation. There is also no impact to the General Fund. |
