RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT FOR THE SAN MATEO COUNTY YOUTH SERVICES CENTER

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has authorized the design and construction of the San Mateo County Youth Services Center; and

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the County and general public to have the project proceed in an orderly manner without labor disruption; and

WHEREAS, having a Project Labor Agreement in place will allow the project to proceed without labor disruption;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors is authorized to execute a Project Labor Agreement with the San Mateo County Building and Construction Trades Council and unions for the San Mateo County Youth Services Center.
