RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH FAMILY SERVICES AGENCY FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE FAMILY LOAN PROGRAM

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on April 2, 2002, the Board adopted Resolution Number 65197 authorizing the Human Services Agency to enter into an Agreement with the Family Services Agency for the provisions of the Family Loan Program; and

WHEREAS, the Family Loan Program offers families a low interest loan alternative to pay unexpected expenses; and;

WHEREAS, a First Amendment was adopted on June 10, 2003 to extend the term of this Agreement to June 30, 2004; and;

WHEREAS, both County and Contractor wish to further amend the Agreement to extend the term to June 30, 2005 for the purpose of continuing the Family Loan Program; and;

WHEREAS this Board has been presented with a form of a Second Amendment to the Agreement for the administration of the Family Loan Program and said Board having examined and approved this Second Amendment to the Agreement as to form and content, and desires to enter into the same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute this Second Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
