RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AUTHORITY TO IMPLEMENT AN EMS FOR CHILDREN (EMSC) PROGRAM UPDATE AND EXPANSION PROGRAM

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance to the agreement with the California Emergency Medical Authority to Implement an EMS for Children (EMSC) Program Update and Expansion Program, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, and;

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to enter into an Agreement, to provide EMS for Children (EMSC) Program Update and Expansion Program services for the period of July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005, for a total obligation of $75,000, and;

WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a form of the Agreement as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Agreement;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board be, and hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of the Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
