Resolution Accepting Offer of Dedication of a Sewer Main Extension in the Emerald Lake Heights Sewer Maintenance District – Emerald Lake Area |

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that |
WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors, acting as the governing body of the Emerald Lake Heights Sewer Maintenance District, a County Sewer District of the County of San Mateo, State of California, hereinafter called "District", is authorized to accept sewer system facilities constructed by private developers for operation and maintenance by said District; and |
WHEREAS, William A. & V.F. Sommers, hereinafter called "Developers", have constructed approximately 112 linear feet of sewer main extension from 643 Vista Drive to 651 Vista Drive for the purposes of providing sewer service to property owners on Vista Drive within said District; and |
WHEREAS, Developers have submitted a written offer of dedication of said sewer facilities for operation and maintenance by District, and upon acceptance by District, relinquishes all further claim to said facilities; and |
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that said facilities and interests thereto offered by Developer be accepted by District; and |
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends that the offer of dedication of sewer facilities be accepted by District; and |
WHEREAS, this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works. |
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED, that the Offer of Dedication by William A. & V.F. Sommers of sanitary sewer facilities constructed by them from 643 Vista Drive to 651 Vista Drive is hereby accepted on behalf of the Emerald Lake Heights Sewer Maintenance District, and said facilities shall become a part of the District’s facilities and shall be operated and maintained by said District. |
