AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 04184

The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, ordains as follows:

SECTION 1. Part 5 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

1.

Mental Health Division. Medical Program Managers who supervise employees in the classification of Supervising Child Psychiatrist shall receive a differential of 9.2% in addition to all other compensation. Only one employee at a time may be so assigned.

2.

Various Departments. Professional staff designated by the department head who provide protective services work shall receive a 5% differential in addition to all other compensation.

3.

Human Services Agency. Professional staff designated by the department head who provide emergency response in protective services work shall receive a 5% differential in addition to all other compensation.

SECTION 2. Part 12 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

Item E439, Alternative Sentencing Officer, is decreased by 2 positions for a new total of 0 positions.

2.

Item E375, Legal Office Specialist, is increased by 2 positions for a new total of 41 positions.

ORGANIZATION 48200 PUBLIC WORKS - WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

1.

Item N010S, Public Works Technician series, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 1 position.

2.

Item J083S, Resource Conservation Specialist series, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 3 positions.

ORGANIZATION 59000 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

1.

Item E346S, Fiscal Office Assistant series, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 2 positions.

2.

Item E350, Fiscal Office Specialist, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 1 position.

3.

Item E334S, Office Assistant series, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 4 positions.

4.

Item E337, Office Specialist, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 2 positions.

Item E420, Medical Office Specialist, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 5 positions.

4.

Item T064S, Utility Worker series, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 11 positions.

5.

Item G098S, Social Worker series, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 8 positions.

6.

Item G040S, Mental Health Case Worker series, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 3 positions.

7.

Item F044, Therapy Aide, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 5 positions.

8.

Item F003, Speech Pathologist, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 1 position.

9.

Item F166, Physical Therapy Assistant, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 3 positions.

10.

Item F171S, Physical Therapist series, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 4 positions.

SECTION 3. Section 1, Part 1 of this ordinance is effective at the start of the first pay period following adoption. All other parts of this ordinance are effective at the start of the first pay period 30 days following adoption.
