RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO CHILD WELFARE SERVICES REDESIGN IMPLEMENTATION PLAN PART I

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the State of California has mandated all Counties implement Child Welfare Services Redesign (CWS) within ten (10) years;

WHEREAS, the State Office of Redesign Implementation has designated San Mateo County Human Services Agency, Children and Family Services Division as the lead entity for CWS Redesign Implementation;

WHEREAS, the State Office of Redesign Implementation has selected San Mateo County to participate in the first Cohort of Counties to implement CWS Redesign in a period of four and one-half years;

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo Human Services Agency, Children and Family Services Division has submitted the attached County Implementation Plan, Part 1, in satisfaction of state requirements.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo; and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
