RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT AND DONATION OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FROM THE CALIFORNIA HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, San Mateo County has developed the One-e-App application system, ensuring that the health insurance enrollment and eligibility determination process are as seamless and user-friendly;

WHEREAS, The California Healthcare Foundation is supporting San Mateo County's development of the One-e-App and its effort to provide technical assistance to other counties by providing a grant and donated computer equipment;

WHEREAS, the grant and donated equipment will expand the number of counties and assistors that have the tools to enroll families into health insurance programs through the One-e-App system; and

WHEREAS, the parties now wish to enter into the Agreement for One-e-app support for $60,000 to run through December 31, 2004;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED, That the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors accepts the grant and donation of computer equipment from the California Healthcare Foundation for the One-e-App program.
