Resolution Authorizing Execution of Omnibus Professional Airport Engineering and Planning Services Agreements with Mead & Hunt, Inc., and Coffman Associates, Inc., to Provide Professional Technical Services for County Airport Projects

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of this County is authorized to engage the services of professional technical experts; and

WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served by selecting and utilizing consulting firms for various airport engineering and planning services; and

WHEREAS, the firms of Mead & Hunt, Inc., and Coffman Associates, Inc., are professional consulting firms qualified to perform airport engineering and planning services on a variety of projects; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that agreements be entered into with the two above-referenced firms to provide airport engineering and planning services as may be needed at the County's Airports and under the direction of the Director of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that

1.

the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agreements with the two above referenced firms on behalf of the County; and

2.

the Clerk of this Board is hereby authorized to attest to President's signature thereto
