BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF A PORTION OF A PARCEL OF LAND FROM THE SAN MATEO COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO FOR THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO WET WEATHER PROGRAM.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California acting as the Governing Board of the San Mateo County Flood Control District, that

WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Flood Control District owns a parcel of land adjacent to the Colma Creek and the City of South San Francisco Wet Weather Pump Station near Airport Boulevard and San Mateo Avenue in the City of South San Francisco (COP #2043 / APN 015-115-500), and;

WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco requires a portion of said parcel for a public improvement project, and;

WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco has obtained an order for possession and has proposed a price that is fair market value for said land, and;

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance a Right of Way Contract and a Grant Deed for the sale and transfer of the property, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the County shall sell to the City said property in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in said agreement, and;

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a Contract and Grant Deed and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute a Right of Way Contract and a Grant Deed transferring a portion of said lands for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
