RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH JOHNSON CONTROLS/CARDKEY SOLUTIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A CARDKEY SYSTEM AT BUILDING E, 315 HARBOR BOULEVARD, BELMONT, AND CHANGES TO 550 QUARRY ROAD, SAN CARLOS

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on July 3, 2003, the County Manager approved an Agreement in the amount of $65,856, and waved the RFP process, for the term of July 1, 2003 to June 30, 2004, with Johnson Controls/Cardkey Solutions for the purpose of installing a Cardkey System at Human Services Agency's Building A, 262 Harbor Boulevard, Belmont; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to further amend the Agreement to increase the amount by $59,364, for a total obligation of $125,220, and extend the term to June 30, 2005; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such First Amendment to the Agreement, and said Board has examined and approved it as to content and form, and desires to enter into the First Amendment.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute the First Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
