Fiscal Impact

The total estimated cost of construction including ten percent (10%) contingency is $418,000. The contingency will be used to pay the contractor for any unforeseen work that is authorized by executed contract change orders. The project is included in the 2003-2004 Capital Projects Budget and is financed with General Funds and Prop. 172 Funds.

We will bring a resolution to your Board recommending that the additive work be included in this contract if the appropriation for additional work is approved in the 2004/05 budget and if the contractor's work is satisfactory.

A form of resolution has been approved by County Counsel.
