RESOLUTION CREATING A MENTAL HEALTH PEER COUNSELOR SALARY RATE

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has determined that it is appropriate to provide certain mental health services to the residents of the County; and

WHEREAS, the current classification plan for the County does not have an appropriate classification and salary rate; and

WHEREAS, a new classification and salary rate will be required to implement this change;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that a new classification of Mental Health Peer Counselor will be created, the salary rate will be established at range 2000 and that this action shall be effective on May 7, 2004.
